MIT Kuaotunu: Ideation
The 'Ideation' exercise was one that made us think about what different things we could do to "solve" our challenge. We were able to use this time to think what we could actually make, as well as think completely out of the box.
I was able to use this time to think about existing resources that proved to be somewhat useful to help me in my thinking process. What could I come up with that caters to my learners and help them? I tried to think of things that were interactive, engaging and would give me, as well as my learners, an insight into what is needed to get to our "next steps". It ranged from websites, documents, text books, videos and so on.
Once we finished writing our "Crazy 8" ideas, we had to stick it to the wall and allow the others to walk around and look and what they had come up with. We were given stickers to put on, little circular ones that showed it sounded like a good idea and could prove useful, and bigger cute stickers that were for realistic and achievable solutions.
It was a good way to work collaboratively with others, getting their ideas and input, as well and feeling like my ideas could be heading in the right direction.
